Understanding Our Members Better
At Makerere University Retirement Benefits Scheme (MURBS), we recognise that our members are diverse, each with varied backgrounds, unique financial literacy levels, career paths, and retirement goals.
As part of our commitment under the current Strategic Plan, MURBS is undertaking a Member Segmentation Exercise. This exercise is a key step toward building a data-driven, member-focused approach to service delivery and will guide us in offering more relevant, timely, and personalized engagement, ultimately ensuring that each member receives the guidance and tools needed to secure a dignified retirement.
1. Purpose of the Exercise
To categorise members in order to tailor communication and engagement, ensuring service delivery aligns with both member preferences and the values of the Scheme.

The target audience for this exercise is the active members of the Scheme:
