MURBS Ambassadors are those members who volunteer to endorse and promote MURBS’ values, beliefs and mission at the departmental levels. The Ambassadors Programme identifies and partners with willing members to take MURBS services closer to the members.
About the Programme
The MURBS Ambassadors Programme was launched on 27 February 2018 and it is open to all members who are willing to join. The Scheme invites members of MURBS to apply for the Programme at least once a year. The members undertake a customised training course, which comprises at least 22 modules for each in-take.
Further, in line with the MURBS Trustees’ succession strategy, the Ambassadors Programme offers a training ground for new Trustees. Prospective MURBS Trustees are required to undergo the Ambassadors Training. Currently, MURBS has 101 Ambassadors, who come from the three constituencies of members, namely, academic, administrative and support.
